How much does it cost to advertise my property on America’s Top 1000 Homes For Sale?Each 100 pixel block costs $50 in the Premium section (top) and $10 in the Economy section (lower half.) The Premium ads will remain online for at least 45 days, while the Economy ads run for 30 days.
One block is nice, but can more blocks be purchased?Yes. You may purchase up to 25 adjacent blocks in the Premium section, and up to 9 adjacent blocks in the Economy section to create a larger image advertisement.
How long will it be before my image is added?This site is automated to allow quick selection of your pixel blocks, with instant payment through Papal. Immediately after your request is submitted you will be sent a confirmation email. Clicking the link in that email will activate your ad.
Can anyone buy pixel space?No. Ads on this website are limited to home sellers and licensed brokers advertising real property for sale in the U.S. Additionally, real estate brokers, attorneys, title companies and similar service companies may advertise in the Economy section only. The Premium section is reserved for property ads only.
The properties advertised must be available at the time of listing. Advertisers must adhere to all Fair Housing guidelines.
Do you screen ads for their content?Yes. Only ads that fall within our guidelines will be allowed. However, we do allow ads to be posted immediately and then are screened on a regular basis.
Be advised that NO obscene, offensive, or adult images and/or links will be accepted. If you post an ad in violation of our content policy it will be deleted. If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive, obscene, or adult material then your order will be deleted.
If your ad violates any federal or state Fair Housing or related regulations, or if it is determined that the ad links to a site which violates these laws, the ad will be removed.
If the property for sale becomes unavailable for any reason, such as sale, pending sale or withdrawal, the advertiser must remove the ad from our site.
What is the refund policy?No refunds will be paid for ads removed due to policy violations, or for any time remaining on a canceled or withdrawn ad.
The site publisher makes no warranties or guarantees against the site being unavailable for technical or other reasons beyond our control.
Refunds may only be granted in cases where an advertiser pays for an ad but is unable to post the ad due to technical reasons caused by the publisher or the website hosting provider.
Are there any other rules to know about?This is a clean and family-friendly site. We attempt to maintain standards that are acceptable to the general public. Advertisers' content must be acceptable to children, parents and the general public at large.
Does this type of advertising provide value for investment?While we cannot guarantee any specific amount of exposure for our advertisers' listings, this form of advertising has generated a great deal of media attention in the past, making it a great source of exposure for websites seeking to direct people to their sites at a relatively low cost.
What size and type of images can I use?When uploading your images, please ensure that they are either GIF or JPEG images and are of the approximate size for the number of pixels you have purchased. A 100 pixel ad is a 10 X 10 pixel block. 2000 pixels is 100 X 200 pixels. Our system will automatically resize your image to the shape and size of the purchased ad.
Note that if you purchase a rectangular shaped ad and upload a square image, the system will reshape your ad to fit the rectangle. This may cause an undesireable effect.
We do not accept animated GIFs.
Brightly colored ads may stand out from the others. We encourage our advertisers to be creative and to design clean, readable ads.
Why can't I buy one single pixel?Simply because it's too small, being just a single dot of color. The smallest graphic that is practical is the 10 X 10 block which is 100 pixels.
How many pixels can be purchased?You can buy as many pixels as you like, up to the limits indicated in each section, as long as there are some available (see the live stats in the top right corner of the page.)
Currently, the Premium section limits purchases to 25 ad blocks, and the Economy section limits purchases to 9 ad blocks.
When you buy some pixels, you can then display an image/ad/logo of your choice in the space you have purchased. You can also have the image click through to your own website. Remember, no obscene or offensive images are allowed.
Why should I buy your pixels?This is a great value for your advertising dollars. You will have your advertisement and link to your home page in front of potentially thousands of people.
What is a Pixel?Short for Picture Element, (PICture ELement), pixels are tiny squares of color, arranged in rows and columns and which together produce an image on a computer screen.
Everything you see on your monitor is displayed using pixels. It's the on-screen equivalent of a dot on a piece of paper.
The grid containing our advertisements contains a total of more than one million pixels. Each ad block contains 100 pixels.
How do I get my ad/link ranked higher?Ad pages are ranked in the Advertisers List according to the number of blocks purchased and the date they were purchased on. So it's simple - the more blocks you buy and the sooner you do it - the higher you will appear in the Advertisers List Ranking.
How does this site differ from other pixel sales sites?Several ways. This site is solely devoted to the promotion of properties for sale.
